NHS mail have confirmed there was an issue with emails sent via Application Accounts at the end 2024 and start of 2025, this included delayed delivery of emails by up to 6 days. The NHS mail team have confirmed the issues have all been resolved.
We are continuing to monitor this issue but have not had any practices report issues in the last few weeks.
We are continuing to recommend all practices onboard with the Smart Inbox to ensure they have a backup for their messages in case of any issues that NHS mail face. For more information please get in touch with our support team by emailing practice.support@econsult.health.

Investigating
We have received intermittent reports of email delivery issues from a couple of practices who received eConsults via email. We're in contact with NHSmail who have acknowledged there is a wider email issue and we await further information.
If practices are concerned that they might not be receiving all their eConsults via email please contact the team either via live chat on the website or email practice.support@econsult.health. The team can help confirm numbers, switch delivery to Smart Inbox or support in turning your eConsults off for the short term.
