We can confirm we have successfully resolved this issue and users are now able to send SMS messages in the Smart Inbox.

Investigating
We are aware of an issue in the Smart Inbox with sending SMS messages. Our lead engineers are investigating this and we will provide an update as soon as the issue has been identified and we have more information. For the time being please use email to send messages to patients via the Smart Inbox.
Please note that the message that have not sent are not appearing in the failed message folder but it is clear they have not been sent as when you navigate from the eConsult in the Smart Inbox it will ask you about discarding your message.
